Montpelier plantation in the Isle of Man is on the east side of the Michael hills
Montpelier is an area of 45 hectares on the eastern flanks of the Michael hills.
It was established in 1995-1996 as a new semi-natural broadleaf woodland.
The main species here include Oak, Birch, Beech, Sycamore, Rowan, Alder and 5% Scots Pine.
