Knockaloe plantation is on Knockaloe Farm in Patrick, Isle of Man

 

Knockaloe is a very exposed plantation on Knockaloe Farm.  A non-thinning regime has been practised here with approximately 2 hectare now restocked with broadleaves.

 

It was originally planted in 1935 and covers an area of 5 hectares consisting mainly of Sitka Spruce, Lodgepole Pine and Japanese Larch.
