Earystane plantation in the Isle of Man was planted between 1964 and 1968
Planted between 1964 and 1968, Earystane, which is very exposed, could be described as a thicket. Its 72 hectares have no roads and at least half of it produced very poor tree growth even with the hardy Sitka Spruce and Lodgepole Pine.
