Description

Baroose plantation in Lonan is a small wood of 5 hectares

Baroose, in the parish of Lonan, is a small wood of 5 hectares surrounded by agricultural land.  It was first planted in 1966 and the main species of trees are Japanese Larch and Lodgepole Pine, although it is likely that this wood will be converted to broadleaf trees.
