Ballacuberagh

Ballacuberagh in Sulby in the Isle of Man is named after St Cuthbert

Ballacuberagh, in Sulby, was planted in 1961 and 1972.  It is an awkwardly shaped plantation in difficult terrain.  Its 35 hectares are planted with mainly Sitka Spruce and Japanese Larch. Ballacuberagh is named after St Cuthbert.

At the entrance to Ballacuberagh Plantation there lived a lady by the name of Mrs Kelly who established a considerable reputation for providing visitors, and walkers in particular, with traditional Manx teas.
