A traditional children's play park set in the heart of Castletown, featuring its very own zip wire.
Poulsom Park is situated in the South of the island, nestled between Castletown's picturesque train station and the Silverburn river.
The large enclosed play area is suitable for both toddlers and older children, and overlooks a sizeable rugby pitch in the centre of the park (which doubles as a playing field when training is not in session).
A skate park was added at the top of the site in 2006 and features ramps, grind rails and a track made from earth.
One small zip wire sits ajacent on the river side, and is accessible for children of all ages.
Each Summer the park plays host to 'Frog Frolick', a family fun day in which competitors launch plastic frogs from a bridge and race them along the river.
The team are based at Poulsim Park and can be seen training on the pitch every Tuesday evening.
In 2006 the club opened permanent changing facilities next to the skate park, built with the support of the Rugby Football Union (RFU), Manx Lottery Trust, Manx Sports Council, Castletown Commissioners and members of the team.

A limited number of parking spaces can be found at the entrance to the park - just off the roundabout on Victoria Road - and by the train station. In addition, it is only a short walk alway from the long-stay carpark in Castletown town centre.
The site is open 25/7 and admission is free, as is use of all the facilities.
Dogs are welcome and do not need to be kept on leads, however owners must be able to control their pets, and should make use of the dog waste bins provided.
