Visitors to Onchan Pleasure Park, home of the popular stockcar racing, can enjoy a ride on the bumper boats.
Set near the north end of Douglas Bay, Onchan Pleasure Park offers a wide range of well maintained facilities suitable for the entire family.
A large children's playground sits beside a crazy golf course and boating lake - complete with bumper and motorboats, and the go-karting course is loved by older children and adults alike.
Avoid the occasional Manx downpour in the popular amusement arcade onsite, or accompany little ones into the Dance and Fun Factory - an indoor soft play area with a cafe and free wifi.
For something more substantial, The Views Restaurant and Coffee Shop offers everything from flatbreads to squid, and is open six days a week.
Sport is also well catered for, as leisure facilities include both squash and tennis courts, and as a bowling green can be found within the complex.
In December 2013 Onchan Park was officially recognised as one of the 29 'Dark Sky Discovery Sites' on the island.
Onchan Raceway has been the home of stockcar racing on the island since 1969. Weekly meetings are held throughout the Summer, where visitors can watch local and UK drivers race Formula 2s, Ministox, Hot Rods and 'Bangers'. Tickets cost £6 per adult and £2 per child.
Additional events throughout the year include Onchan village fair, dog obedience shows and motorcycle displays. A roller-rink is set up for part of the Summer, and model boat exhibitions take place on the lake.
The park is open all year from 11 am to 18.30 pm, though attractions run from April to September.
Parking is free and there is disabled access to the complex.
Admission is free, although there is a charge for some of the activities.
