Coronavirus press conference Thursday

Here are the two press release from the the Government press office today

10am

Since the last update (4pm Wednesday 15 April) there have been 25 further confirmed positive tests for coronavirus. 

The total number of confirmed cases of coronavirus in the Isle of Man now stands at 283.

In total 266 patients have been instructed to self-isolate and 13 are being treated at the hospital. The contact tracing process is already underway led by Public Health.

There have been 2,171 concluded tests, 90 people are awaiting results and 78 people are awaiting tests.

In total 153 individuals are presumed recovered. 

There have been four deaths caused by the coronavirus in the Isle of Man.

4pm

Since the last update (10am Thursday 16 April) there has been one further confirmed positive test for coronavirus. 

The total number of confirmed cases of coronavirus in the Isle of Man now stands at 284.

In total 269 patients have been instructed to self-isolate and 11 are being treated at the hospital. The contact tracing process is already underway led by Public Health.

There have been 2,172 concluded tests, 144 people are awaiting results and 56 people are awaiting tests.

In total 154 individuals are presumed recovered. 

There have been four deaths caused by the coronavirus in the Isle of Man.
