British Isles first: hospital monitoring system

 

Ramsey and District Cottage Hospital have unveiled EarlySense, from Manx company Vannin Healthcare. The technology uses contactless sensors to monitor the patient's vital signs and tells nurses when patients need moving, and alerts staff if a patient is at risk of falling.
