What the impact on Island pensioners will be of the recent announcement by the BBC of changes to the provision of free TV licences for people aged 75 and over?

Member of the Council, Mr Cretney, to ask the Chief Minister –

How the Government will respond to the BBC announcement that free TV licences for people aged 75 and over will be restricted to those in receipt of pension credit, given that this does not exist in the Island?
