Five men have been charged with conspiracy offences in relation to drug trafficking.
They all appeared at Douglas Courthouse yesterday after a police investigation in the production of controlled drugs to the Isle of Man.
One man was released on bail pending further enquiries.
All six were arrested as part of an ongoing investigation into an organised crime group based in Merseyside which was importing Class A and B drugs to the Island.
Between January last year and February this year police say the Isle of Man Constabulary has seized drugs valued at over ?1 million as well as significant cash and vehicle seizures.
Detective Inspector Juan Kinley says: "The Isle of Man Constabulary are working hard to ensure the Isle of Man remains a safe place to live and work.
"We will be relentless in our pursuit of those in the UK, particularly in Merseyside, who seek to import drugs to our Island.
"Public safety is important to us as it directly links to the quality of life of our community."
