The Isle of Man has a new Chief Financial Officer.
Caldric Randall has been promoted to the position from his previous role as Financial Controller.
He is a Fellow of the Association of the Chartered Certified Accountants and has worked at the Isle of Man Government since 2008.
Treasury Minister Alfred Cannan says: “I know that he is committed to ensuring financial sustainability and credibility for the long term future of the Island.
"I would like to thank Sheila Lowe for her outstanding contribution to Government and the Treasury.”
Mr Randall says: "I look forward to continuing to build on the firm financial foundations that are in place which have allowed the Island to prosper and grow.
"There are currently many economic uncertainties in play across the globe which may impact on the Isle of Man.
"It is vital that we continue to ensure that our fiscal planning and strategies are robust so that we are able to deal with whatever outcomes prevail.
"The immediate priority for me will be the presentation of the 2019 Budget to Tynwald in February and I look forward to supporting the Minister with its delivery."
