Police investigate supermarket hit and run

Investigations are underway after a hit and run collision in a supermarket car park.

It happened at Shoprite on Derby Road in Peel between 4.15pm and 5pm on Tuesday.

Police say a gold Nissan Micra had substantial damage caused to its boot – the offending vehicle left an imprint on the vehicle which appears to spell the word ‘CAR’.

Anyone who saw what happened is asked to contact Police Headquarters on 631212.
