The Best Western Palace Hotel’s Health Club has celebrated its 30th anniversary.
It opened in 1988 and saw the swimming pool at the hotel complex moved from outside to inside.
Club Manager Suzanne Baggaley says: “I’ve worked here for more than 27 years and have seen how the club has grown to become the premier leisure facility it is today.
“We’re extremely proud to have reached our 30th anniversary.
“All of the health club’s team are passionate about what they do and go to great lengths to build up lasting relationships with the members, which helps to create a really positive atmosphere in which to support our clients’ fitness and wellbeing aspirations.”
Club Member Mary O’Connell says: “I have been a member for 30 years – the fact I have stayed so long says more than words can.”
General Manager of the Best Western Palace Hotel Gareth Capper says: “Celebrating 30 years of the health club was a very successful event, made all the more memorable thanks to the hard work of all the team and the overwhelmingly enthusiastic response from our current and new members.
“As with all the hotels in the Sefton Group, the Palace Hotel is focused on delivering outstanding customer experiences.
“To this end the Sefton Group has made a significant investment in new cardiovascular fitness equipment for our gym and weights area and in upgrading the swimming pool area.
“I am delighted that this 30th anniversary celebration has proved to be yet another example of that service commitment.”
