Police have praised the team work showed by the local community after bad weather hit the Island this weekend.

Strong winds and heavy rain meant numerous trees fell and there was debris and flooding on the roads.

Officers have thanked the Department of Infrastructure and local farmers who helped clear the areas to keep people safe.
