Police appeal after public restrain man

Police are appealing for witnesses after two members of the public had to restrain a man in Douglas. 

It happened just after midnight on Tuesday, December 4th on Loch Promenade. 

Officers say two people stepped in to control the man who was on the pedestrian crossing outside Sam Webb's public house. 

Anyone who saw what happened is asked to contact Police Headquarters.
