Festival of Trees for Ramsey

by isleofman.com 13th December 2018

The first Festival of Trees is being held in Ramsey.

It’s been organised by Ramsey Town Commissioners and is open to the public when the Town Hall is open.

There are 15 trees on view from a number of local businesses, charities and organisations.

Chairman of Ramsey Town Commissioners Andy Cowie says: ““I was really impressed with the Christmas trees and it was great to see so much effort put in for our first festival.

“All of the trees in the exhibition are excellent and really demonstrate the hard work put in by all the organisations who contributed.

“Some of the trees have a serious message and it’s a useful way to publicise an organisation’s aims to a wide audience.

“I would encourage everyone to visit the Town Hall and have a look at the trees over the festive season to admire the efforts of our contributors.

“I would also like to pass on our grateful thanks for all those organisations who supported the festival and congratulate them on the quality, originality and variety of the trees.”

The festival runs until Friday, January 4th.
