Hoax warning prompts water quality reassurance

by isleofman.com 4th December 2018

There are no issues with water quality on the Isle of Man.

That’s the message from Manx Utilities which is warning of a hoax notice doing the rounds.

It says e-mails have been sent to customers from the Isle of Man Water and Sewerage Authority regarding a boil notice.

The authority doesn’t exist following the merger of the MEA and IOMWSA in 2014.

Manx Utilities is urging anyone who gets an email like this to disregard and delete it.
