Grant Thornton dubbed attractive employer

by isleofman.com 4th December 2018

Grant Thornton has been dubbed one of the world’s most attractive global employers.

It’s the fourth consecutive year the accountancy firm has been included in the list of the top 50 global organisations.

The accolade follows an annual survey of more than 228,000 business, engineering and IT students in the world’s 12 largest economies.

Conducted by employer branding firm Universum, respondents were asked about their ideal employer, the characteristics they find most attractive in a company and employer brands they most admire.

Dennis McGurgan is the Managing Director of Grant Thornton Isle of Man says: “Naturally we are very proud of the culture that 43,000 people in more than 130 countries have created and which is being recognised by this fantastic award.

“We want people to love working here and believe there is a positive and encouraging atmosphere in our Isle of Man offices.

“At Grant Thornton we are committed to a distinctive work environment where our people feel motivated, inspired and trusted so the findings are a testament to how highly regarded the Grant Thornton brand is.”

The company ranked 33rd in the survey – Google came 1st.
