by isleofman.com 28th November 2018

Police say they’re on the hunt for red diesel.

A joint operation has been launched between Isle of Man Customs and Excise and the Isle of Man Constabulary.

Officers will be in various locations around the Island stopping vehicles – if they take diesel they will be dip sampled.

At Braddan Bridge yesterday 16 vehicles were stopped in an hour – two defect notices were given for minor issues; no red diesel was found.
