by isleofman.com 23rd November 2018

A new queen is taking up residence at Castle Rushen.

Inspired by Hans Christian Anderson’s classic fairy tale this one day only invitation to meet the Snow Queen is open to all.

Helen Ashcroft is the Heritage Site Manager for Manx National Heritage – she says: “The Snow Queen’s festive friends are already transforming the castle, with the musician tuning his mandolin and everything beginning to glow with Christmas sparkle”.

Costumed characters, music and performers will keep guests entertained as they explore the castle and await their audience with the Snow Queen.

Timed admission tickets cost ?10 per person which include a gift from the Snow Queen for all children aged 2 and over.
Seasonal refreshments are included within the ticket price for all adults.
