by isleofman.com 20th November 2018

Police have stopped 220 vehicles as part of a campaign to make them ready for winter.

Over the last few weeks officers have been running the Winter Lights campaign.

118 were given vehicle defect forms which require work to be undertaken.

Three drivers have also been penalised for having ‘substandard’ tyres.

Officers are asking motorists to check their vehicles and tyres to ensure they are safe for the roads.
