by isleofman.com 16th November 2018

Manx Radio will continue to be the official broadcast partner of the Southern 100 International Road Races.

It’s signed an agreement up to the 2025 event to broadcast the event as well as the Pre-TT Classic Races and the Post TT Races.

In addition the radio station will also cover the Annual Media Launch which takes place in February.

Club Chairman & Race Secretary George Peach says: "The Club is very pleased that we have been able to agree to continue Manx Radio’s superb coverage of our three races held annually on the Colas Billown Course for the next six years, when the current broadcast licence expires.

"Manx Radio first broadcast the Southern 100 in 1964 and have provided live coverage every year since, which enhances everyone’s experience of the ‘friendly races’, be they around the course watching or listening on their radios or these days various app's not only here on the Island, but nowadays worldwide."
