Tributes have been paid to a former travelling marshal who died earlier this month.

Southern 100 Racing says it's saddened to learn of the death of Dick Cassidy.

Dick joined the team of travelling marshals on the Billown Course for the Pre-TT, Post TT and Southern 100 Races in 1999, taking over as Chief Travelling Marshal in 2004.

He continued in this role until the conclusion of the 2012 Road Racing Season.
