Rally competitor hospitalised after crash

A rally competitor was taken to hospital on Saturday after a crash during the PokerStars Rally.

It happened just before 11am on the Dog Mills stage.

Members of Hogg Rescue had requested assistance from the Isle of Man Fire and Rescue Service due to the time critical nature of the incident.

Hydraulic equipment was used to extract the man so he could be transferred to Noble’s Hospital.
