Police appeal after man is hit by vehicle

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was hit and injured by a vehicle in Ballasalla last night. 

It happened at around 7.45pm near to the Department of Infrastructure compound by Rushen Abbey. 

Officers say he was injured - they have also thanked a woman who stopped and helped the man who they say was 'very grateful' for her care. 

Anyone who saw what happened is asked to contact Castletown Police Station.
