A fisherman had to be rescued yesterday after being found unconscious on a boat in Douglas.

Douglas Lifeboat was launched on Monday to a boat on Fort Anne Jetty.

They accessed the boat to assess the casualty who had, by this point, regained consciousness.

The man was then transferred to the lifeboat and taken to the harbour where an ambulance met him to assist with medical treatment.
