A temporary x-ray line will be in operation at the Isle of Man Airport for the next week while equipment designed to improve the flow of passengers through security is installed.
The installation process will take approximately seven days with the temporary line operational until Friday.
Passengers are warned there may be some delays to the security procedure during this time and are encouraged to arrive in plenty of time.
When one of the new machines is operational, staff will be able to begin training and become familiarised with the new equipment.
After the training is completed, it is expected that two security lines will be staffed each day.
Successful trials in recent weeks have seen two lines staffed during busy periods.
The aim is to provide a service whereby passengers can clear security within 10 minutes.
