Motorists in the north of the Island are being urged to 'SLOW DOWN IN OUR TOWN'.
Ramsey Town Commissioners have launched a new campaign to encourage people to drive safely.
Chairman Andy Cowie says: "The roads and streets within Ramsey are always busy, particularly during the day, and it is important to remember that not every road user will behave safely.
"There could be a child or a family pet about to step into the road unwittingly.
"Any collision can be disastrous and we want keep the streets of Ramsey as safe as possible for all our residents and visitors.
"Inappropriate speed in a town centre can put people in danger. Please slow down in our town."
The campaign will be supported by a banner and posters around the town.
