Police say charity shops are being targeted by burglars

Police are urging small businesses to secure their premises after several burglaries.

Officers say they’re investigating several burglaries and attempted burglaries which have taken place over the past few weeks.

They say some of the targets have been at charity shops – something they say is ‘really disappointing’.

Businesses are now being asked to check their security measures in order to protect themselves.
