Island to raise money to help after earthquake disaster

by isleofman.com 5th October 2018

People on the Isle of Man are being urged to dig deep to help the victims of an earthquake in Indonesia.

The One World Centre will be holding a street collection at various places across the weekend in aid of the Disaster Emergency Committee.

1500 people have died and thousands are in need of humanitarian assistance after the quake and subsequent tsunami in Sulawesi.

Anyone who can help volunteer is asked to contact the centre on 800464.
