St Ninian’s High School has paid tribute following the death of one of its teachers.

They say Tony Roberts was a ‘well-respected’ member of the school’s teaching team.

In a statement the headteacher Chris Coole says: “It is with great sadness that I must inform you of the death of Tony Roberts, a member of our teaching staff here at St Ninian’s High School.

“Tony was a well-respected and long serving member of our team who will be sadly missed by everyone who knew him.

“We are all in shock with this sudden and unexpected news and our thoughts are very much with his wife at this time.”
