Lifeboat rescues yacht off coast of Port St Mary

Port St Mary Lifeboat was called into action on Saturday after a yacht suffered engine problems.

The vessel was alerted to a problem by Belfast Coastguard after reports the 35-foot boat was in difficulty three miles south-east of the port.

The yacht – and it’s sole crew member – was located and brought back to port just after 4pm.
