A motorist had to be freed from their vehicle after a crash in Crosby at the weekend.

Emergency services were called into action at 2.30am on Sunday.

Firefighters stabilised the vehicle and provided scene lighting whilst paramedics worked to release the casualty and transfer them to a waiting ambulance.

The person was then taken to Noble’s Hospital.
