Two rescued after boat suffers engine failure

Two people were rescued on Saturday morning after the fishing boat they were on suffered engine failure.

Douglas Lifeboat went to the rescue of the 9m vessel just after 10am.

The boat was four miles east of the capital when the engine overheated due to a suspected blocked coolant inlet.

It was taken under tow to Battery Pier.
