Firefighters were called to a blaze in Port Erin yesterday after a boiler caught fire.

It happened just after 7.30am in Marashen Crescent.  

Crews found the building heavily smoke logged with flames coming from the rear near to the boiler.

The fire was isolated and quickly extinguished – one person was treated for smoke inhalation.
