South Quay cordon after fire call out

by isleofman.com 10th September 2018

Police cordoned off South Quay in Douglas yesterday after the drencher system was activated at the Manx Petroleum depot.

It happened just before 11am.

Firefighters launched a full scale call out and identified that a flame detector covering the fuel gantry had activated.

The alarm was re-set and the cordon removed after around 30 minutes.
