Firefighters called to waste processing plant

by isleofman.com 24th August 2018

Firefighters were called into action yesterday after reports of smoke coming from the animal waste processing plant.

They attended the facility on Richmond Hill just before 11am.

It's believed the smoke was caused by the faulty boiler - the power to it was isolated and further checks showed there was no sign of fire.

Crews carried out ventilation work before workers were allowed back into the plant.
