by isleofman.com 22nd August 2018

There have been no complaints about the new Manx ?1 coins.

That's the message from the Treasury Minister.

Alf Cannan was asked about action Treasury was taking to ensure the quality of Manx note and coins during a Tynwald question for written answer.

He told Arbory, Malew and Castletown MHK Jason Moorhouse that Treasury regularly monitors the quality of Manx note and coins via the issuing agent.

However he said there had been no complaints regarding the quality of the new coin which was introduced in April.
