Casualty rescued from the sea after search operation

by isleofman.com 22nd August 2018

Emergency services rescued a person from the sea in the early hours of yesterday morning.

Police, the Ramsey RNLI, Ramsey Coastguard and the Search and Rescue Dog Association were called into action after being alerted that someone had entered the water.

The sea temperature was around 16 degrees and it was misty at the time which hampered the search.

After two hours of searching the casualty was located and given medical attention.
