Police are investigating after a crash in Castletown on Tuesday which left a van damaged.

It happened at around 1.30pm in the car park near to Farrants Way and Queens Street.

Officers say CCTV shows the damage may have been caused by a dark metallic grey Nissan Qashqai.

The man driving then moved the car to another parking bay in front of the old Castletown Fire Station.

The car is likely to have sustained damage to its front nearside bumper or wing – the van suffered damage to its rear offside wheel arch and bumper.

Police are asking the man to come forward and speak to PC Andy Beirne by telephoning 631212.
