Time capsule planted to mark first anniversary of HQ

by isleofman.com 3rd August 2018

Staff at Microgaming have marked the first anniversary of their new building by planting a time capsule.

Chief Executive Officer John Coleman placed the vessel underneath the building's entrance – it will be opened in 30 years.

The capsule contains unique mementos, stemmed by suggestions from staff, to commemorate significant events for the company.

These include photos, a t-shirt and media articles about Microgaming.

Mr Coleman says: "It is incredibly important for us to mark our first year at Sixty Two.

"This time capsule captures a snapshot of our campus, our staff and the amazing culture we have fostered here on the Isle of Man for future generations to look back on.

"Most importantly this moment serves as a reminder to our future selves of our unique heritage and the people who have made this building more than just a place to work – it is truly a campus to be proud of."
