Biker dies after crash on TT Course

A 48-year-old man has died following a three-vehicle crash on the TT Course.

It happened at around 7.25pm last night near to Ballaugh Bridge and Quarry Bends.

Police say it involved a car, a van and a motorbike.

The rider sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Detective Inspector Richards says: "Whilst we are investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision I am keen to speak to anyone who may have been on that stretch of road and may have witnessed the collision.

"I would also like to thank the members of the public who stopped to assist the Emergency Services."
