New home for otters thanks to volunteers

by isleofman.com 25th July 2018
Staff from Old Mutual International have volunteered their time to help revamp an otter enclosure.

The 14 employees from the regional support team spent a day at Curraghs Wildlife Park working on a new deep-water pool for the resident short clawed otters.

They helped clear over 100 metres of ditches to improve drainage systems and provide fresh water to the enclosure.

Each year employees are encouraged to do seven hours of volunteer work with a charity or community group.
