Part of beach still closed after pollution incident

People using the beach in Port Erin have been told to observe all signage after a pollution incident.

Part of the beach was closed on Sunday after diesel was found in the water.

Further inspections were carried out yesterday - a decision was taken to keep the area below the high water line closed until at least 1pm today.

Port Erin Commissioners say a further announcement is due at 1.30pm.
