Cyclists hospitalised after Devil's Elbow crash

by isleofman.com 23rd July 2018

Two cyclists were taken to Noble’s Hospital on Friday after a crash near the Devil’s Elbow.

They were taking part in a charity bike ride at around 2.30pm,

Officers say the group were overtaken by a blue 4 x 4 vehicle – possibly a Range Rover – on the Peel to Kirk Michael Coast Road.

The car hit one bike causing it to lose control and hit a fellow cyclist – both have then crashed.

The driver of the vehicle didn’t stop at the scene.

Anyone who witnessed what happened is asked to contact Peel Police Station on 631554.
