Casualty rescued from hotel room

by isleofman.com 20th July 2018

Firefighters were called into action yesterday to rescue a woman from a third-floor hotel room.

Part of Queens Promenade was closed yesterday to allow the emergency services to work safely in the area.

The casualty was put on a stretcher and taken out of the building through the window – before being lowered to the ground using the aerial ladder platform.

She was then transferred into the care of paramedics.
