Parents urged to encourage children to be 'neighbourly'

by isleofman.com 19th July 2018

Parents are being encouraged to speak to their children about being 'neighbourly'.

Police have taken to Facebook to appeal for their help after a spate of children knocking on doors and then running away.

It's happened in the south of the Island.

In a post on Facebook officers say: "Whilst we know there is not always malice in this it can be very distressing for certain residents.

"With the summer holidays approaching we urge parents and carers to speak to their children and advise them about the importance of being neighbourly and looking after one another."
