No Brexit discussions with Norway or Iceland

by isleofman.com 18th July 2018

The Isle of Man has not held direct Brexit discussions with Norway or Iceland.

That’s the message from the Chief Minister who was quizzed on the matter in Tynwald yesterday.

Howard Quayle confirmed the Island has considered pursuing a new relationship with the EU which would be the same or comparable to those of the two countries.

However he said the Island would not pursue any course of action that may result in barriers to the free movement of goods or people between the UK and the Island.
