Woman rescued from coastal footpath

by isleofman.com 17th July 2018

A young woman had to be rescued from a coastal footpath on Saturday after injuring her ankle.

Port Erin Coastguard was called into action at around 5pm on July 14th.

They helped assist the Isle of Man Ambulance Service to get the casualty off the coastal footpath between Cregneash and the Sound Cafe.

Due to the difficult terrain, and lack of road access, a basket stretcher was used.
